My eldest is a Senior graduating in 2024. My youngest in elementary. The elementary experience is better than high school experience. Academically, this school does very well and the kids have great learning experiences. My eldest had great teachers, but enrichment areas were very limited with few clubs of interest or good instructors to run them. Unfortunately the pandemic just exacerbated a deep rooted problem at this charter school. Teaching staff turnover in high school is staggering. Very few have stayed over the years. The reality is that the instructors they hire are not qualified to teach anything or worse, do not care. Those that do, leave. My child has to learn a good portion on their own. The school does not provide books to each student, they have to share a book in class for most classes. AP classes? Good luck go use the AP website. Since parent involvement dwindles, and the school does not do anything unless we pay, events are far and few in between for high school.

I've been attending Pinecrest Preparatory Academy Middle-High school since I was in sixth grade and I am now a sophom*ore. This school has exceeded my expectations with how supportive, helpful and accommodating my teachers and counselors are when I'm in need of guidance.
My school is also pushing an emphasis on respect and empathy to students.
Although, I would like to see a more diverse selections of classes and clubs for students to join. Due to my school being heavily focused on stem there is a less focus on the arts.
I am overall incredibly grateful for having such a nurturing environment for my classmates.

I’ve been in this school for around 8 years now, many teachers were horrible and didn’t know how to teach at all. I have ADHD and struggle to pay attention, certain teachers review their classes or specifically helped me to make sure I understood the lesson. The Lunch is disgusting, the uniforms (especially the blazers) are extremely uncomfortable. And the rules are out of this world. This school sucks.

Counselors provide a lot of help with advancing your course work and resume, but the school does not offer an adequate high school experience

Pinecrest Glades Academy is a fantastic K–12 institution situated in a lovely neighborhood with a strong sense of community. The school is an excellent option for families wishing to provide their kids a well-rounded education because it provides a large variety of activities, athletics, honors classes, and AP classes. The school also places a high priority on giving back to the community, as seen by the numerous clubs and extracurricular activities it offers its members. The school provides multiple Advanced Placement (AP) programs in addition to honors classes in a wide range of topics. It's a fantastic option for those who want to push themselves intellectually and be ready for college. Instructors take extraordinary measures to make sure that their pupils succeed and are ready for their future pursuits. The school also places a big emphasis on technology, and many of its classrooms are outfitted with the newest technology to improve student learning.

As a current student, PGA has been an excellent school in the six years that I have been a dragon. PGA ensures that everyone is safe, obtains the best education, and makes sure that everyone has a great learning and memorable experience.

Is a good school, sometimes they have a really bad problem of miscommunication between both buildings but the teachers are excellent, they like to teach, so it make every class a good class

If you are looking for a good high school don’t come here. This school is okay for middle school and elementary even better but they can’t manage all three.

PGA truly needs a lot of work and start hiring teacher that know what they are teaching for the kids to perform . I understand the need of hiring teachers but if the schools was so great specially for HS not many student would be leaving the school after graduating 8th grade , so the # of students inside of the classroom will be less than a traditional HS. The school doesn’t have the proper teachers to really teach what they’re offering. This year new principle , a few new sports which they don’t have coaches that know about the sport maybe just volleyball and basketball , and first time secondary has some activities and with all that, the school still needs a lot of work . If you child has always been in gifted just be aware once they get to secondary they get mix with regular students . Everyone is advance but the school will tell the parents the opposite like they have always done for other things . Some Teachers , administration and counselor very rude . I don’t recommend PGA !

I frigging love this school man. I had just recently changed schools because I had to move and I think this is one of the best experiences I've ever had school-wise. The teachers are so nice (with an obvious exception of some) and they help me when asked. The food is pretty good and there are a lot of cool events. While the school is small I feel like it's a good thing because the teachers are more attentive while the teachers in my other and bigger school were not.

This was my first year in this school and I've gotta say, its pretty good. During the beginning of the year it was a little hectic because they were very strict on phone use (they still are) and they would also give students demerits for little reasons, but as the year went by they started to be more lenient and they didn't care as much about the phones. Maybe they just wanted to set an example for the new/returning students. The school is pretty new so it has a more modern look to it, the lunch food is alright, the teachers are pretty good but there are obvi some bad ones, the staff is pretty nice but also strict. The homework can be a little bit much but anyone should be able to manage, the uniform can get uncomfy (especially the blazer), and the staff also is more leaned towards the elementary kids. But besides all of that I think its a pretty good school, I took the STEM pathway one year and no path the next (Sophom*ore) and it was pretty fun. ^^
